Deaths, extreme hauntings and Prison Cells of the Old Nick Theatre in Gainsborough. Built for the Lincolnshire Police force, the cells housed some of the most profound criminals in the Victorian era. From a simple robbery to murder, these men and women were tried, convicted and housed in this location.
Our team will be taking you on an evening of Ghost Hunting in the most strangest of places – A Court House, Prison Cells and now a Theatre.
The grade 2 listed building was originally built as a former Magistrates Court and Prison cells from 1860 until the mid-1970s so the building has a lot of stories to tell, from the prison officers to the convicts which were sentenced on the floor above the cells.During the 70s it was taken over by a small theatre company the building has not changed since 1979.
The theatre is now where the Magistrates Court was housed, but underneath still lays the prison cells, reception, watch room and the exercise yard for the criminals.
We will take you on a night which is purely brilliant and terrifying at the same time. We will do a series or investigations and activities using our equipment: Seances, Yes/No tables, Ouija Boards, a huge array of ghost hunting equipment: from K2 Metres to Night vision, as well as our professional and very talented Medium; she will help us all to communicate with the spirit world and much more.
The team will also be giving you chance to attempt a lone vigil for 15 Minutes. (This means you can do your own investigation in the building by yourself) Can you do it?
