Built on an ancient burial site dating back to 3000 BC, Kielder Castle, a former hunting lodge built in 1775 for the 1st duke of Northumberland, is the perfect location for ghostly goings on. The truly dark skies of Kielder Water & Forest Park add to the eerie nature. Numerous sightings include a man on a horse, a Victorian lady, a young hunting accident victim and a servant girl who died of a broken heart.
During your night you will be taking part in various methods of Ghost Hunting to include Ouija boards, table tipping, glass divination, Seances and along with modern day ghost hunting techniques. This event comes with an option to sleepover until 9am in the very rooms you have been investigating.
If you are planning to sleepover you will need to bring something to lie on a sleeping bag and pillow. Think indoor camping!
Tea/coffee and squash along with crisps and biscuits will be available.
