The magnificent property that is Baskerville Hall was first built back in 1839 and is by no surprise steeped in years of meaningful history. The Hall is well known for its ghostly hounds, but there’s far more of the paranormal occurring here.
The well known author of the book ‘Hound of the Baskervilles’, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, was a lover of this grand property and would return on many occasions. His book was the inspiration originating from his time spent here.
You may catch a glimpse of ‘The White Lady’ who is regularly spotted in the rose garden, or you may come into contact with an unknown male apparition who is reported to be seen on the main staircase. Many guests and staff alike have also heard unexplained banging noises and footsteps coming from the corridors at night…
